My bands looking into getting a new PA.

Our current one is only 150watts and was really having a hard time last jam.

I was getting some real weird feedback and the PA speakers were actually 'lighting up'! Yikes.

I'm looking for a new PA around the 800watt range with two speakers and perhaps get a couple of monitors. This PA would be for vocals only I suppose. It would have effects right in the system.

I didn't realize that it cost so much for new systems.

What are you guys using for PA?

Large bars and clubs have PA's but I'm looking to get into smaller ones who will mostlikely not have PA equipment.
