my Weaping Demon wah pedal.
this may sound wierd but my weaping demon wah pedal isnt very.....well.....wah.
the tone change isnt very big at all and it just gets briter and darker. but no wah really.
it has a lot of setting. but idk ANYTHING about the technecal part of music. so idk how to change it for the better.
is it just the pedal? or can i make it better?

There are a lot of different crybaby models, some are crap some are awesome but they all look the same on the outside. I had a CBG-95 or something like that and it was pretty lame. I now have a Crybaby Classic something-F with the famous Fasel pot, sounds waaaay better, bigger sweep and shit.

hey dude... i have the original crappy crybaby... the one with no features... not sure what the number is... and i find it SUPER trebly. Is the fasel one more tame? my problem is that when i activate it, it gets so shrill i feel like im going to tear my eardrums.

Yeah, Wah pedals really used to piss me off. It takes forever to find one you like and that works good with your gear. The Weaping Demon has a lot of features to tweek, but I'm not sure adjusting them will get the tone you are looking for. I would try tweeking and see what happens. At least you can sell it or trade it in if you find something else you really like.
I found that I like the Wah functions on my GT-8 a lot more than I thought I would. Its a digital wah and I didn't believe it was going to sound right, but once I played around with the ranges I found it actually sounded really good. I can program and store every parameter just the way I like, but its a complicated procedure and a GT-8 cost a lot of cash.

Yeah the CGB I had was pretty trebley too, and had very little sweep range. The Fasel one is a lot more midrangey like any wah should be. The sweep aint as good as a Bad Horsie 2 but it's a great wah pedal. I eventually want to try and possibly buy a Morley BH 2 though.
