Engl Thunder- Footswitch compatability

So I've finally decided to go with the Engl Thunder, I played it again today and it sounded awesome, easily enough gain without even pushing it into power tube distortion. Does anyone know whether the Boss FS-6 will work ok with this or do I need the dedicated Engl 2-button footswitch? Link to Boss FS-6 page: http://www.bossus.com/index.asp?pg=1&tmp=140 Thanks guys!
