Tech 21 Amp and OD Pedal
http://raleigh.craigslist.org/msg/299559045.html
I've always heard Tech21 makes great stuff and thought this might be a good replacement for my 15watt crate + metalzone practice setup. What do you guys think? Will it pull off good distortion? Any thoughts on the pedal? Is the price reasonable?

have you bought that ho yet? My band used to practice in a jamspace, and for the longest time, all they had was those tech 21 combos. They were sold promptly due to their awesomeness, and the jam space was then filled with a 3 button footswitchable crate 2x12, some random amp made by a company called "Ventura". The tech 21 will service all of your flavors. Hang onto the mt-2 though, you might want it to get that extra gain out of the tech.

The amp alone will produce KILLER distortion. If you're gonna buy that, just get the amp, because for 260-270$ you can get a brand new Trademark 30, which has a 10" speaker and is much louder than the TM-10

I'll offer him $140 but if it doesnt have enough distortion i dont see the point of getting it, with the metalzone i dont think it would sound much diff than my crate. Thanks for the input guys.

140$ is a bit too low, 160-180 will probably get him going. It definitely does NOT need supplemental distortion, it's fine on it's own. Just ask someone else here(forgot the name) who just bought a Tm-10, he's apeshit over it. I had a Tm-30 and it ruled major ass too, no pedals needed.
