I have the opportunity to purchase one of the new crate blue voodoos (the ones currently in production) its the crate bv120hb. i was just wondering whether these feature the "trademark" crate BV sound because i was aware that most people use the old crates you know the ones with the blue tolex and gold crate logo, just wondering if they feature the same circuitry or whatever.

i was told they sound different, ie. older ones are better but i really dont know. bv's are good for the price but are nothing great imo. i wish i had an old marshall. want to buy mine?

I didn't notice the difference, if there is, it's completely minute.
