Poll : Best Cryptopsy Vocalist?
I never hear anyones opinions on this matter...so here's a chance to give your opinion on a great death metal band. Who was the best Cryptopsy vocalist in your opinion, and why?

I used to really hate Disalvo, but now I think he is great. I can't imagen Lord Worm doing any good on Whisper Supremacy or And then you'll beg. On the other hand, Disalvo probably wouldn't fit very well on Blashpemy or NSV either. Can't really decide.

I liked Lord Worm best but the band seems capable of adapting to new sounds seamlessly and keep things compelling. That means a lot to me.

I thought Martin Lacroix was the vocalist on None So Live.
Mike di Salvo gets my vote simply because Whisper Supremacy and And Then You'll Beg are Cryptopsy's best albums.

Lord Worm was fucking unbelievable on None So Vile, but gay on Once Was Not. Still excellent and epic though, so I vote him. Also a great lyricist.
DiSalvo is cool though, yeah, as everyone else said, he suits the albums he performed on.
Hopefully Cryptopsy's next release will be less like Once Was Not and more like everything else. Actually, like everything else and nothing like Once Was Not.

Lord Worm, although really he was only good on "None So Vile".....his vocals on BMF are among the worst I've ever heard in death metal, laughably bad. OWN was meh. DiSalvo just blows period.

Since Lord Worm was BMF and NSV
Lyrically and musically , Those two albums are the best Cryptopsy ever has done.
I choose Lord Worm
and anyway, the man's one insane dude inside the studio and outside

DiSalvo's a bit too shouty for me, it is said in many places that he introduced something of a hardcore influence, dunno if that's true or not but that's the impression I sometimes get. Whereas the Worm's voice and styling has character, although Blasphemy Made Flesh was a little odd. I only really listen to that for a laugh.

For someone who generally hates "hardcore vocals", I love Mike DiSalvo. He had more interesting vocal patterns than Lord Worm, but Lord Worm killed it on NSV. However his vocals on BMF weren't incredible, and his vocals on OWN were simply shithouse. DiSalvo put in two quality and quite unique performances and was probably the more technical of the two vocalists, which is good because he appeared on the two most technical albums I guess. Plus on Whisper he sounded fucking angry.
In the end, they were both good for what they did. Martin Lacroix was impressive as well.

I like DiSalvo more because it suits perfectly to the wacky mood of '...And Then You'll Beg' which is my favorite Cryptopsy album.
