Watain - Sworn to the Dark
If you haven't heard this yet, you most definitely should. Even if you hate black metal, this is an album for the ages. The solemn lead at the end of "The Serpent's Chalice" is the best thing since I Am The Black Wizards. Don't be gay, just check it out.

I'd buy the LP, if only to piss and spit on it. This album is so emotionless, so lyrically flat compared to their works.
Rabid Death's Curse, this album could almost literally explode at any fùcken moment
Casus Luciferi, well I wàsn't too fond of it, but this album was a solid, well, 'stream'. It's not separate songs. Fuck explaining it.
But THIS... Disgusting. And it sounds like E. fell in love with Secrets of the Moon.

Blah, I love Rabid Death's Curse, but this is just a natural progression to something even better. Casus Luciferi was right behind this one in quality as well.

I'm guessing from your disdain that you prefer the rawer black metal, which is a fair way to go. I just think this is a great "metal" record overall.
