how the hell do you read the key board inn i evighetens morke(part I) tab. help would be very much appreciated .

you have all these numbers
12345678901234....etc
find the one with the^ above it thats middle C so you can figure out where all the other notes are from that. look at the |!|!| bit, | would be longer white keys ! is your shorter black keys. the two notes together just means that theres no halfstep between them (ie BC) the numbers below the notes. are the order to play them so for the first part

c-g-c-D#-c-g

the * notates when to depress the pedal(if you actually had a piano and not just a keyboard)

not so hard, next time give the band and link to the fucking tab

This will be C-G-C-Eb-C-G (a C-minor arpeggio). I agree that it is a quite strange way to write such a key tab, and I prefer the way I write them (take a look at Mourning Palace, Alt Lys Er Svunnet Hen, Sorgens Kammer).
