I am plaing on buying a accustic from my friends brother for a total of $20(yes 20 dollers. I have never head of the compony. Emprador?. If i could get some back info that would be great

I'm guessing English isn't ur first.....if not that's fine, but $20.......I don't think you need anyone to tell you anything on this. Just use your goddamn head, how much is one of the cheapest guitars out there(real ones)? Even a dirt cheap Rogue costs about $60.......you get what you pay for. On the otherhand, shit it's $20, what the fuck do you have to lose?

EDIT: Jesus man, I type in Emperador guitars in 1 try on google and I get reviews from Harmony Central from them. Their ratings seems to be in the 7-8/10 range.

20 dollar is not much but I have seen a lot accoustic guitars in shops for like 24 euro to 50 euro's. Of course those are more toys than real guitars. First you should look if the neck is alright, because if they lay steel strings on a nylon string guitar, the neck bends a bit and damages the guitar. So the neck should be straight. Also consider the fact that you probably need to change the strings which will cost you also. I find that expensive strings like "Hannabach" on an accoustic make really a difference. But then again maybe it will be candy for the pigs like they call it here. I would not really care for what label it is, its 20 dollars! If its a bit decent and you need one buy it.

Judging by your english, you may not mean 20 USD or canadian dollars...nevertheless, that is still pretty ridiculously cheap... since it is an accoustic company, i cant give you much info on it, because most accoustics sound the same to me.....i guess thats kinda a round-about way of saying , buy it you nub
