Ok.
Start from scratch. Throw this out and rewrite it from the beginning.
Stop being so obvious with everything you are saying. Try subtlety. It is more effective.
Improve your vocabulary.
See every other bit of advice I've already given you on other things you have written in the past.
Come up with better words to rhyme. Don't rhyme words like need and feed. It makes it sound amateurish.
There you go.

I hate subtlety. I get how it can be more effective, but I love stuff that's right in front of your face and not so sublime. This could be due to the fact that I'm completely dense and oblivious to anything symbolic or metaphorical, so my opinion is.... what's the word... biased?

Yeah, but mainly the music. I haven't even thought to look at the lyrics. I know that's stupid, but that's what it is.
Even if I read they lyrics, I still wouldn't be able to comprehend them. I'm telling you; I've probably just barely passed all my English courses in High School, getting just a passing grade (D-). Failed twice, redid one class once. I'm terrible at it. That's why I'm more intrigued by up-front stuff. Not saying I think sublime lyrics are stupid, but I get frustrated trying to understand them that I just give up.
