If you could go back in time to see one gig, what would it be?
Title says it all..

I'd go to a gig at Oslo 1989-1991 and see Mayhem with their good lineup. Dead, Euro, Necro, and Hellhammer. Hell yeah!

Common anti-LSD bullshit.
Hard question.. but it'd be one of the following bands (in no order): Mr. Bungle, Tool (pre-anemia), Death, Dead Kennedys

There was a show in the Netherlands in 2003 that had LDoH, Gronibard, Rompeprop, CBT, Blockheads, Birdflesh and someother band I forgot. I would kill to have seen that.
Also, 2 Anal Cunt shows...1. When Seth got in a fight with Hatebreed. 2. When Seth attacked a guy in the crowd after 10 seconds, the show was stopped.

Good call on the Thin Lizzy
Woodstock would be cool, just for Hendrix and the free love from unwashed hippy girls!
The early Led Zep tours in the states, it would be worth getting belted by the riot police! Bloody long haired subversives!
Volume 4 era Sabbath.
Voi Vod in the mid 80's, I got the chance to go see them but I didn't have the cash
Iron Maiden at the Ruskin Arms.
Any of the Ozzy tours 1980-82 just to see Randy.
Back in the 60's it would have to be the following bands..The Who, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, MC5 and Pink Floyd.
The Damned, The Clash and The Sex Pistols tour in 1977. Would be worth it alone for the Damned who later got booted off the tour!
Any show at CBGB's in the 70's. New York Dolls or Ramones would have been cool.
Earache's Gods of Grind tour.
Elvis Presleys '68 comeback show
The first UK tour by the Scorpions in the 70's. My sister went to see them on that tour and has blighted my life ever since by telling me how great they were and how cool Uli Jon Roth was
Coroner: I don't think they ever toured the UK
Any show from 85-86 from the Bay Area
Rush 2112 era.
Kreator around Pleasure to Kill time. Again didn't have the cash to go
The Dead Kennedys!
A lot of the tours from the 80's and 90's you guys have mentioned I was privileged to go see those bands in that era.

I've seen Rush--that was my first concert and Ted Nugent played with them back around "Fly By Night" time. '75 maybe?

I went to the UK Clash of the Titans tour which was a far better line up. Slayer, Megadeth, Testamant and Suicidal Tendencies.
I did see Alice in Chains support Megadeth the following year, but I wasn't that blown away by AIC.

You'd probably get scared before Damageplan even took the stage, and no not because of how shitty the music was.

That would be my wish to, but I wouldn't just watch. I would rush the stage to drive everyone away, cause the show to end fast, call the police, or just trip killer Marine fucktard before he got near the stage. I would try to stop things one way or the other.

Part of just watching isn't rushing the stage.

Yeah, but just by changing history you could've changed anything. Maybe you happen to be in the guy's way, maybe he doesn't like your haircut, who knows?

Maybe, although I'm sure it's alot less likely in venues where someone isn't already planning on murdering people.

Probably just the Disgorge show, cause they're most likely never to play here again, being poor and all.

Death live in LA, or anything with Metallica when they had Cliff.
It's sweet that I will get to see both Carcass and At the Gates without travelling in time :P

May 29, 1913. Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris. "The Rite of Spring" - first public performance. Stravinsky + riot = GOOD TIME.

Led Zeppelin '73, so I can hang out with my dad when he was 26. And to see Zeppelin of course.

Yeah, that's what come to my mind first. I would've liked to see Metallica while Cliff was still around, but esp. MOP-era.

Defiantely woodstock 69. Over 400,000 people were there, that'd be an amazing sight.

To witness someone's death? That's pretty stupid.
He was a decent guitar player, yet highly overrated. That's no reason to want to see him killed in action. You're a worthless POS.

Yeah but dude he might have a point. Wouldn't it be crazy to be able to say "yeah, I was there when Dime got shot". I mean it's fucked up to want to see someone die, but wouldn't you liked to have been there when Kennedy was shot, just to say you were there? See my point?

Silly humans, i wanted to see dimebags last gig don't question the reasons why- as you don't need to know nor do you really care, stop typing here.
Also wouldn't you like to see some hairball get blown away must be rather fascinating.
