It's Zon Sonus Studio.
The quilt is even better in person. My other Zon is 24 frets, 34" scale, and 17mm (I think) spacing while this one is 22 frets, 35", and 19mm spacing, so it's actually taken some getting used to.
I'll try to get some clips posted...I'm going back in the studio in a few weeks, so I'll try it then.
Thanks guys.

I got it used for about $2300. I think they go for about $3500-$4K new these days...Getting pricey, but they're awesome basses. They record real well.

Wish I had had the guts to ask Tony if I could try out his Zon, when I saw Atheist last Summer... Maybe I'll ask next time, as I'll probably try to see them again next Summer. I'd really like to play a Zon for like 10 minutes, but I'm pretty sure no one owns one in this country..
And by the way, I love Canvas Solaris. Especially Penumbra Diffuse, something really different I like to enjoy once in a while

I joined Canvas after Penumbra Diffuse so I don't feel cocky about saying that I like that album a lot too. Amazing musicians.
There are a few great bass brands in Europe but Zon might be a bit hard to find like you said. They definitely have their own sound especially with the graphite necks.
I actually get to see Tony quite a bit since they practice down the hall from us.
