My Last Note
Just a shorty inspired by another person's piece on another forum. If you ever get to watch a woodpecker fly they're really different. I had to add that for their silent musical quality.

An E minor if I have my way
I hope that I undulate in arpeggio
Like a woodpecker's wings in flight
Staccato steps in triplet
Holds that are forever long
I hope I end life on a dissonant chord
But know, my last note will be resolution
