OK and my search is over
After searching and searching I finaly found the head I was looking for. It's expensive as FUCK but it will be worth it. Framus Cobra.

Do you want it because it's expensive or is there another reason?

They respond extremely well to overdrive boosts in front. But why aren't you getting that JCM900 man? They're far cheaper and easier to find to try out.

I tried the JCM900 out. I didn't like it very much. It was just I dunno there was just something about it I felt was missing.

I was also thinking Steve's music. They supposidly give good deals. I'll check out songbird music for sure. Hopfully they got one. I was about to order one from ebay for $1700 but it looked iffy. At least this way I can see what it sounds like and if there anything wrong with it.

yup it is... apparently my 3rd cousin works there.... wheres the reverb room?
and i've seen a few framuses go through songbird. Their website is updated every time they get new stock in, so if you check it, and they have a cobra, pounce on that bitch.
when you go to steves, talk to their head amp dude about finding one... they know so much about gear... almost too much. And if they dont have it, they sometimes will order it, which is sweet. Steves also has the lowest prices of ANYWHERE. They beat long and macquade (sp?) by 25$ hahahahah.

I heard Steve's is really good. I bought my KV2 from there and they through in a bunch of cords and picks and a strap for free.
I don't think they sell Framus so I think it would have to be a special order which might cost more. It's already about 4 grand.

if you're patient and you look around the harmony central for sale section of the forum, you'll probably find a good deal. i've seen a couple cobras go for around $1,300-$1,400.
i'd play one before buying though. i was a bit dissapointed in the cobra i had.

If it's still there, The Reverb Room is on Queen's West. I went to college in Buffalo, NY so I went to Toronto a lot with my then girlfriend, now wife, to see metal shows. Saw DimmuBorgir, Samael, Cryptopsy, etc. Lot of good times there, I love Toronto.

Ouch. And they're handbuilt amps right?
I find it funny how so many people at HC complain about Engl's build quality when the amps rarely break down. They're definitely doing something right that dozens of other manufacturers are doing wrong.

No the dragon is just a lower case Cobra. The Cobra is just a hotrodded Dragon bassically.
I'll try one out when Songbird gets one in.
