Amon Amarth's Wacken show, would you happen to have a clip of that or something?
And yes, Rammstein lighting themselves aflame and then jumping offstage onto a raft is very entertaining. I saw them one year, but they only went crowd surfing (which is kinda gay, but still a good performance). |

I think of all the live acts I've seen, the ones I've enjoyed most have been (in order) 1) GWAR, 2) Cannibal Corpse, 3) Behemoth, 4) Suffocation, 5) Dark Funeral.
Oh man, I still remember the Behemoth show. It was an outdoor show, at Starland Ballroom in Jersey. It was a nice and bright day, the sun was out, the birds were chirping, pleasant temperature, etc etc. Then, Behemoth takes to the stage... all of a sudden, fucking, the sky starts turning dark, and it starts getting all cloudy and shit. Before you know it, it was raining, and there was lightning, thunder, all that good stuff... it was like the most evil thing ever. So sweet.
Nergal can sure fire the crowd up, too.
However, GWAR owns all of these acts live. Theyre just hilarious.

I was just about to mention them. I've never seen them myself, but a friend of mine went during high school and he told me the music sucked, but the show was so awesome he'd go again for sure. Having heard some of GWAR's music, I agree that it sucks. I'd also check out one of their shows on the cheap, given the opportunity.

without a doubt best show ive seen was a local act, Girls Are For Fags, hardcore brutal punk, FUNNY AS FUCK stage antics, brutal awesome fast paced songs, hilarious lyrics, awesome stage presence etc.
better than cnable cpse and cannibal corpse imo

The best frontmen I have witnessed are Jon Vesano, once of Nile, and Greg Puciato of Dillinger Escape Plan. I've never seen anyone as intimidating as Vesano and he was an amazing spearhead for the Nile vocal trident. Puciato fills the stage fantastically for a reasonably short guy and his interaction with the crowd is great.

There was some band from the Netherlands that was playing an outdoor show and then all of a sudden, the singer starts bangin his girlfriend on stage. I fuckin forgot the name of the band but I wanna know because I did see the video floating around somewhere on the net. ..That was bound to find its way into this thread sooner or later
