New amp

I was thinking of purchasing a Randall Rx75R for practice with my band would this be a good choice?

depending on what music you play / how loud your drummer is you might want something a little bigger. If I was to go ss again I'd want atleast 100 watts through 2 12" speakers. Or you could go a half stack if you have the need, I've heard some really good things about the RX120DHS.

If that's a 75W combo amp, then yes it'll definitely keep up with a full band. Can't speak for the tone though, you'd have to try it/read up on it.
