Decapitated's guitar tone

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfUDJc2jcJM

Just thought I'd share this video of Decapitated covering Mandatory Suicide. Man, Vogg's (guitar) tone is fuckin choice!

Old. Yes, he has a great tone. 5150. Unfortunately since he started using a Recto live they sound mushy and sloppy these days, and their setlists don't have any old songs anymore.

Yeah I'm not too pleased with his voice either. Seen them live 3 times already, and I wish I got to see them with Sauron... Organic Hallucinosis was a big letdown, I show up on the DVD though.

I hope their next record is much better.

I've been saying that since "Winds Of Creation" came out. That was a fuck of an album. I really like Vogg though, his playing is twisted.

That's a good way to describe it, and I agree.

Yeah I truly miss the solid riffs and solos on WoC. Nihility ruled, and Negation was ok, but Negation and OH just seemed to be lacking the depth and inspiration that Decapitated once had. Still there's somethin I like about OH, it's like if the riffs got simpler, but the arrangements more complex. I wish it was the other way around.
