free cubase vsti plugin?

Hi!

I hope that at least some of you have experience with cubase vsti plugins...there are tons out there for free, but does anyone know a really good plugin for "orchestral" sounds?
So to say - for black metal.

I´ve sarched through a few sites and tried some plugins but couldn ´t really find what I´m searching for...so I´m happy about any help.

Orchestral sounds? You mean like a pipe organ? Or just guitar with too much reverb?

It sounds like he means an entire orchestra playing notes. (my guess) The only thing i've ever heard that is like that is the orchestral "booms" or whatever they're called. (basically where it sounds like an orchestra hits like one note really strong then quickly stops.

Seconded, Edirol Orchestral sounds really good, but the only way to get it free is bittorrent.

Thread hijack: Anyone know any big sites that have an archive of VST plugins that you can download for free? I'm looking for all the things you could possibly use for guitar and vocals. Reverbs, delays, flangers, pitch shifters to make it sound like a bass, etc.

Right here.

Plenty of good plugins to be found there, you can also try KVR, but that's mostly just an archive of VsT plugins in general.

KVR
