I'm in my bed and it's 9am
Haunted by dreams of my blowing out my brain stem
I'd invite death if it was dealt to me
With a gun in my hand create human debris
Suddenly woken by somebody calling
My name and I'm stirred from my bullet installing
Now, it makes no sense, a kiss on my cheek
But I'm awake later and human contact I seek
My home is empty I'm hungry
Where is my breakfast, it should be waiting for me
The TV is left on and hosts are smiling
The car is gone and Mothers possessions are hiding
I continue to look but theres no signs
All life has gone save the corpse of mine
A year has now passed and I'm still alone
I recall what she said, "I'm leaving home."
