Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak. That's a good album for road trips. Someone else mentioned Pestilence - Testimony of the Ancients. That one rules, too. Any old Rush works for me, and any of Stained Glass, Killing Machine/Hellbent for Leather, and British Steel from the Priest. Iron Maiden's first 5 albums make great travel albums, too.
EDIT: Doc mentions Pantera, White Zombie, and Megadeth. That's three more good travel bands.
