solos probably fine and mick is really well accepted among the death metal circles as far as ive read an seen so its not really that much of a deal. the guys at blabbermouth went nuts though

Perhaps he wanted his head tattooed. It's up to him. I think the dude is pretty fucking cool, always willing to talk guitars, beer, chicks etc. with his fans.
Oh yeah, Malevolent Creation... one of my 5 favorite death metal bands ever, and I can't wait for new shit. As long as that dude isn't bringing retarded Slipnot-isms to the band (which wouldn't happen, given that Frasciana rules everything) and can play death metal music, why would there be a problem?

I wasn't exactly thrilled when I heard this, but I doubt that one solo is going to bring a whole record down. The lineup for this record rules (although I wish Jason was on vocals instead of Hoffman) so I'm really looking foward to it.

Pretty much everyone in Slipknot are big death metal fans apparently, they just make crappy music and make good money off it. But if Mick can add a good solo to the album who gives a shit? He's supposed to be a pretty good guitarist despite his retarted drop B riffs with Slipknot.

Well as everyone knows, the drummer was in Anal Blast. I think they're just a bunch of money hungry sell-outs with the singer being the exception, as he's a complete idiot who knows nothing about metal. If any one of them does a DM project and it's good, I'll surely listen.

Joey was in Anal Blast: they sucked anyway, so nothing really to try and do research on.
Mick thompson was in a neo-classical death metal band similar to Death, Brutality, and Gorguts. They were fucking sick adding crazy ass bass solos partially harmonized by percussive guitar riffs and shit.
