Well, whatever floats your boat. That's not even close to what I was thinking, but as always, I like to see other interpretations.
It's basically about being semi dependent on someone and variances in personality that another can only watch and wait on. Sometimes it's more frustrating to the watcher and if they aren't careful it will drag them down.

Cool. That's the feeling I was going for.
I've changed the title to "A Day Divided." With some guidance after I explained the content, that title was offered. I think it helps describe more of what I didn't say in the piece itself.
The lighter looking parts are like grassy plants dried and the darker ones refer to how beneath them moisture can be trapped and they can be moldy and rotten there.
I appreciate the comments.
