Distortion Question
I know there's a lot of these but I really don't give a shit. I love Cannibal Corpse's tone on Bloodthirst, does anyone know how to achieve this sound from a digitech DF7 Distortion Factory?

maybe if you put some effort into figuring out what your knobs do, you wouldnt need help. I doubt that anybody here even has your pedal... and i doubt anybody has even thought of buying one...
to get the tone of your fav band, you need your band's setup. 7strings with emg81-7's into crate BV 300's or mesa boogie triple rec's, and Engl Fireballs. A pedal wont do that. Just play with the knobs until you get close.

And I strongly disagree that only having that band's setup will enable you to get that tone.....but yes, there's nothing more to recommend other than twist the knobs around.

eh, i was just inferring. If you want absolutely flawless band tone, you need the band setup. Of course theres probably different combinations of gear that will get you damn close, if not virtually the same tone, but the simplest way is just copy the band.
1 pedal will not get you the sound of a $5-10k setup (i'm taking into account rack gear, and custom guitars)
