If you can't find a decent bassist for your band, read this:

Interesting. Apparently by slaving a bass amp to your guitar amp you can achieve a sound nailing on a bass if EQ'd properly. Interesting nonetheless, probably extremely useful for people who can't find bassists for their band in time for a gig or something, or at all.

I'm not sure about this, but aren't bass amps usually trebly as fuck when used with guitars? Or can you combat that with just turning the treble knob to 0?

EDIT: Or yeah, as you said, with proper EQ'ing?

Napalm Death did something similar when Shane Embury couldn't play because he had the shits. Mitch Harris went through his rig too somehow, but he didn't enjoy the set at all for some reason.

I played a gig withouta bass player before, all we did was turn up the bass on the EQ (I have a Boss GT8 so the bass turned up makes it sound FAT) and it sounded cool, well as good as it could I suppose
