i was reading something cant remember what but it said dean's headstock and neck design did something special for the guitar like the shape of it or something. can anyone give me some light on this cause i was thinking of buying the v '79 and i just wanted to know what was 'special' about the neck

With the Dean headstock shape, they made it so that if you're looking at a guitar hanging on the wall, and you look at it from the top down, before you've even got to the nut, you know that you don't want to buy it because it is hideous

I think though, that their necks aren't super thin or anything, and they've got a pretty big V shape profile to the neck.
