Beneath The Massacre - Mechanics Of Destruction

Anyone been excited about the release of this album other than me? The single sounds pretty solid, and sometimes catchy. Should be a good release.

I'm kind of ambivalent about this record.... it has it's moments, but often sounds like power tools mixed with Nintendo (NES) music. Chug 1 low note on difficult rhythm then do a lot of sweeps and repeat. I also know that's the least cool thing to say on this board. Ho hum.

I just found out it was leaked yesterday. Words can't describe how happy I was, and I for one like power tools, video game sounds, and freaky music. Luckily all those sounds are in great order.

Well time to listen to the rest of the album.

I just started the first track on this album, so far from what I've heard this makes Evidence outdated.

Seconded.

I like music with emotion and feeling. This was just skill recorded onto CD.

I believe its Mechanics of dysfunction froobs, don't insult my favourite band ever again, Unfortunately they let me down with this release the ep songs are much more memorable.

Listened to it all once through

got bored

Maybe if it was one song itd be good, even great, but theres little to no variation and yeah. its all just one constant, I swear to god.

Disappointing. I know its "cool" to bash BTM on here, but I actually sort of liked the EP a little bit, but this is nowhere near as good.

Itīs a good album. Very very impressive. However the vocals do nothing for me, and the production is a bit too robotic for me - donīt get me wrong I love tech stuff that people winge about being tech for techīs sake, but some of this sounds so mechanical I think it does detract from the music in places. I listen to it from time to time, but Iīve never really got into it.
Itīs got more direction than that ep. Some of the tracks on the ep almost sound like they could have been different bands

At first i was like WOW awesome, but yeah they do get old preety quick, all the songs start sounding the same, especially when every track has those machine gun drums.

I think when it comes to tech bands, it's all about being as technical as possible with no regard for musical quality. All it shows is endurance and stamina, which isn't bad, but after a while, it's like, "if that's all they're trying to prove, why not just go into some hard sport or event, like running or weight lifting?"

Then you'd think, "Well, tech bands are much funner to watch than heavy weight champions."
