Locking nut
Ok, this is just a question to satisfy my curiosity.
On double locking guitars, on the nut end, do you screw down the clamps with the ridge (Right on top, passing through the hole in which the screw goes in) going vertical or horizontal? I'll see if I can get some pics up soon to clarify what I mean.
PEACE!

I know what you mean. I don't think it matters since the underside is uniformly flat.

Horizontal! Don't do it the other way or it may be impossible to unscrew it afterwards! Happened to me once, I tightened it vertically and it got stuck, couldn't even pry it out, ended up having to demolish the guitar's nut and get a new nut.

Not only are they a tight fit the wrong way round, but often the bottom is NOT uniformly flat, many locking nuts are slightly curved, and the underside of the pressure pads are curved also.

It really doesn't matter......I've done it vertically w/ several guitars and have had no problems whatsoever.
