Amplifying an Amplifier

I just got this weird idea, which seems harmless but I want to run it by some professionals first, of running an amp head through a more powerfull amp. I don't know if this really would cause any damage if handled carefully, but I would like to know what kind of restraints I might have to deal with.

It's called micing lol.

Nah, I've heard of people running up to five different heads through each other, but i'm not sure how it works, and what pre-cautions(is any) you have to take.

You can take a preamp/line out and slave the signal into another amp being run clean, a very common practice to amplify lower wattage amps with a bigger amp. Doesn't even have to be a guitar amp, you can slave your guitar amp to a keyboard or bass amp, or even run it straight into the PA as well as micing it obviously.

Man, I get real sweaty after I wack my dong.
