it would sound like shit, 2 beaters would be hitting at the same time, creating a lot of flams that sound bad

dualist pedals are a lazy drummers excuse out of practicing, my drummer does a toe-heel double technique and he hits 32nds at 200 easy.
just practice, like any other instrument there is no easy way.

Give him my congrats also and get him to record a video to show the world what he's been hiding.
I've never tried the two dualist pedals on two bass drums, I could only imagine how hard that would be. You can say it's cheating, but it's a totally different teqnique to play on campared to double bass or single pedal.

This is what 200bpm 32nds sounds like.
Try to think a bit more carefully before making silly claims that can't possibly be true.

He probably means 32 second notes at 200 bpm using double bass.
I find it funny how the site that you just posted with the audio thing is called "teethgrinder."

What the fuck are you talking about?
You think he meant a 32 second note? Like a note that lasts for 32 seconds?
200bpm is 200bpm, and 32nds are 32nds. There's no room for error.
The chances are he meant 16th notes at 200bpm, I was obviously being fecetious. But really.
Kindly explain the difference between 32nds at 200bpm and 32 second notes at 200bpm - I'm fascinated.

A 32nd note is a note that has a length value being 1/32nd of the measure, in 4/4.
Its not like your the only one here with musical education...

I re-read my post. I did mean 32nd notes. Not 32 second notes. Oops.
But nevertheless, 32nd notes at 200 bpm are not impossible, at least on a double bass. On a single pedal, however...

I haven't got a musical education.
32nds at 200bpm might theoretically be possible, but I very seriously doubt we'll ever see it done. If you've ever seen Tim Waterson on his world record run (the 1407 beats in a minute/351bpm), you'll see it's pretty close to the limit of human capability - it's going to be next to impossible to improve on that by the 15% or whatever it is to make the 400bpm mark.
And why the hell would anyone want to bother?
