Gig Bag...
is it me, or guitar companies like to laugh at the handicaps of people with guitars that ARE NOT LES PAULS OR STRATS? sure, if you buy an expensive ESP, Jackson or some other guitar, the case comes with it. but what of those other guitars that are quarter of the price, and have bodies that arent the stuff that normal gig bags can hold?
what the hell am i ranting about? well, i am in the middle of getting this guitar:
http://peavey.com/images/fullsize/00593760.jpg
by peavey. peavey doesnt sell gig bags for randy roads bodies. my best bet is to call in Jackson, but they are charging me about 150 for a case. sure thats not too bad considering it IS a hard cover case, and it does have the jackson name on it. and then there is that BC RICH with their coffin case gig bag, and their regular gig bags. i personally HATE BC RICH, but since its convieniet, thought of getting that and spraypainting the name out. turns out, BC RICH stoped sending those cases to canada for some reason...
now what? check up with DEAN? they only make V, not rhandy roads. same with Gibson and their flying V.
any ideas?
btw, if you're wondering why i'm going for that guitar...i'm really am not. i kinda got screwed out of getting a jackson KVX10 guitar. some store credit issue i had(i accidentally bought a les paul guitar...hateing its feel) and that store only carries weird brands that are nothing too metal related. and i'm sick of strat bodies. so peavey does a good job at providing a cheap guitar that looks great

You "accidentally" bought a Les Paul, AND you hated how it the guitar felt? What's wrong with you?

I'm sure you can get a used RR3 or something in great condition, which would look better and play better than that Peavey. Otherwise, would a regular "V" gigbag not suffice?

A V gig bag bag would do
I'm sure this guy is looking for something that has a strict RR shape. Cause he's cool and doesn't stick things in his ass.

dont know why metal-life is giving me shit...but meh
whats wrong with me? umm, well, i've been playing for 2 years. thats whats wrong. i needed a second guitar that not only looked good, but sounded good. and my price range was for 500 bucks. so i picked up this guitar:
http://www.theguitarworld.com/image...sunset1_med.jpg
and played it for about 30 minutes and thought it was cool. brought it home, and played it for 6 hours and found out things i'm not comfortable with. so i tried returning it, but i had the best guitar the store had to offer, and i was only getting a store credit. so i tried selling it...its a unique guitar that doesnt have a HUGE market for. so yeah. went to some other store, and i was only getting 300 back, so yeah. decided to get a peavey guitar with the same price from the same store. i'm thinking of replacing the pickups with EMG, and getting some custom paint on the body or soemthing.

Get your fuckin' EMGs (81s for all I care) and your custom paint job.
Since you're obviously a homosexual, you might want to knit your own gig bag

Because you ask gay questions, buy a really gay guitar, then ask more gay questions.

Oh my...2 years and you have to buy a guitar with a floating bridge, THEN replace the picups with EMGs...you realize that buying a new guitar wont help you play right?
ahaha "You're right! i need to buy an expensive new amp and a rack!"
But jesus man, just get the V case, its the same shit.

Fucking great.
@soliloquy: Want to buy my EMGs (81/85)? I'm switching them out somewhere in mid-February most likely (gonna sell them for like $135+s&h).

this whole forum seems to be obsessed with homosexuals. unless you are having some weird homo orgy, i fail to understand the obsession.
anyways, i dont think a normal V gig bag can fit in a RR. one of its pointy ends is longer than the other one.
the floyd rose, i dont think you need tons of experience to use it. my friend has that, so i'm aready used to that bridge. besides, my first guitar is something i made myself. its bridge i kinda messed up on, and now its action cant be changed no more. and since i made the guitar, i'm looking for some other guitar with an actual name taht isnt too expensive.
@ 4d5e6f: why are you getting rid of your EMGs? but yeah, i might consider that IF i really hate my custom peavey pickups. but 135 sounds good.

I just think this whole topic is retarded, gay or not.

Because they aren't the tone that I desire, and I'm getting some DiMarzios toe replace the EMGs for my birthday (in 6 more days).

OK you can't really go wrong with those. But what's wrong with you EMG's?

Oh, I thought he was asking what's wrong, like, if they were damaged.
No, they're in perfect condition, I just want something with better picking dynamics and more bass response.

I have a case still from a RR guitar I sold. You just need a long case, as the fins are longer than most guitars.
You can buy my one if you want...
