Noss NS-2....
Hey guys, I'm in need of help. I'm currently building up my rig, and I'm thinking of buying a NS-2 because my pedalboard makes some terrible noise when i have it plugged in. Will the pedal remove that? And also, would this be the best setup for the pedalboard:
Guitar--Wah--Chorus--Eq/OD--Noise suppressor---Amp
I'm using the eq as a gain booster. I appreciate any help.

As far as cutting out unwanted feedback when you're not playing then yes the NS-2 will help eliminate that. Getting your Pickups wax dipped (if they aren't already) and the electrical cavity copper insulated will also help. Plus always make sure you use noiseless cables/leads. Also check out the ISP decimator as an alternative to the Boss. Also an electrical conditioner for your adapters will probably help get rid of any inherent electrical hum from the source.

the way i'd run it would be.
guitar->ns-2->amp. and then the ns-2 has an fx loop that i would put the other pedals in, especially any gain pedals, or noisey pedals in general, pretty much anything but delays and reverbs because you don't want to gate those.

I use all my effects in my FX loop with my NS2 at the end.

Why wouldn't you use the ns2 before the effects? That seems like it would make the best sense. Therefore when the effects are being processed its not processing the "shit" tones. But thats a guess.

i just get cables and try all the pedals on a wooden board......
...dont get too fancy with gear
but yea those sound good togather as pedals
...an eq will help but too many pedals can get annoying

Most of the noise comes from pedals, so putting a noise suppressor before the pedals wont do any good to suppress the noise coming from them.

Word, that kills absolutely all type of noise. And I have no problem using my Delay before the NS2, it doesn't cut it off(probably cuz it's also a Boss product ).
