I need an opinion on a Megadeth cover I recently recorded
Haven't been on the forums for a while...
Good to be back!
Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone can give me an honest opinion on this cover I just recorded.
Please tell me what you guys think!

Around 2:30 the singer's voice just gets insanely bad; work on that.

Is this just going to be a cover band? If not, and if you band has its own style, try to incorporate your style into the song. It sounds too exact.

doesn't sound very close to the original version at all...not enough bass and to loud of high hat in the mix...also sounds like the tempo is either a bit fast...or keeps changing...by a couple bpm...granted i couldn't do any of the leads...just commenting...
vocals need some work...it sounds like you are trying to yell to much...mustaine doesn't like yell all that much...especially during 2:30...if i remember correctly you aren't suppose to "yell" if you are singing...like doing it a bit is good but like overing doing it ruins the sound...
mixing...stuff
up the bass, down the high hat... yeah...

I only really like the guitar, the drums and vocals suck.

Note how I said it sounded like the sound quality was messed up.

Did that hi hat have a microphone all too it's self! Drummer appeared to be in a race
Nice work on the solos and it's good to see someone doing a Megadeth song that isn't Symphony of friggin' Destruction yawn yawn!
Vocals need a little work/better mix, though at the end they reminded me of Nuclear Assualt!

Nah I wouldn't fire him, just get him to work on his timing.

I hope you guys noticed he said "I" recorded.. not "my band" recorded, one man band, so he gets credit for that

Plus, if you're doing a cover, why make it "just like Megadeth"? I'm sure the drummer will get his timing down. It's amazing how many high school kids can play as fast as Derek Roddy, but have no style to speak of whatsoever. That comes with age.
