it was cool to finally see mustaine live ... they're playing about 50% new stuff, but still sick as hell. biohazard drum riser in full effect. nice banner too. freidman replacement is tight.
down are clowns in person. totally ruined them for me. all the tact of a g'n'r reunion.
h&h is pretty epic/dramatic as you'd expect. bring your amphetamines its a long set.

well obviously they didnt do ozzy songs, seeing is how it is a sabbath w/ dio concert. Heaven and Hell, dehuminizer, and mob rules (i think i may have forgot one).
Megadeth had a far superior show than sabbath, sabbath just hogged the stage, and iommi is too old for stage presence...
But, on the plus side, i caught iommi's pic |
oh yeah down...well when he got to my place, he just got over strep throat, so in that sence like, i can see why his singing was bad..rex was cool though

Well I went on the 14th, and I must say, Megadeth was fuckin kick ass. They played Wake Up Dead, Hangar 18, Holy Wars, Symphony of Destruction, Tornado of Souls, Peace Sells, and a few new ones... I have a huge shiner on my left arm and two on my right, I wish I had a cam to take pics of em

Oh yeah! Definitely going to this one! Only it's gonna be Alice Cooper, Queensryche, and H&H. Which is cool cause I like all bands. I never listened to much Alice Cooper, save for a few songs, but it's still cool to see the old geezer live. I can't fucking wait!
Sunday, September 17th, the Amway Arena, Orlando Florida! And to make things even cooler, I'm gonna go see Arch Enemy the next day. They are opening for Machinehead, which I've never listened to, but it'll still be interesting to check 'em out.
Gonna see Megadeth, too, in October. Seen 'em twice so far, and both times they were absolutely superb.
