Do you have headphones, like ipod headphones or anything? You can plug those in to your speaker jack and it works fine.

Buy it whether it's on sale or not. And then get the rest of their discography.

In Absence of Truth surely is amazing. Go for Panopticon next.

Oceanic is the only one i don't have. Panopticon is truly an amazing album. I would probably rank it over ITAoT. I never really got into Celestial very much though.

some of celestial is really, really awesome. i always loved "C.F.T. (New circutry and continued evolution)". That song is the reason i found metaltabs and was my first post here
i didn't really rate In the absence of truth very highly compared to their older stuff, although it was still brilliant. Panopticon's production is just amazing, the writing is phenomenal, the build up for So did we (opening track) is just something else, and when it breaks at 6mins 14secs...well...wow.

Grinning Mouths for me. So crushing at the end; simply exhilirating. Panopticon is in my top three albums of all time, probably only behind In Their Darkened Shrines.
Anybody who likes Isis should probably check out the following:
Red Sparowes (more rock than metal though)
*shels (perfect mix between Isis and Red Sparowes with a theme of the African savannah)
Pelican
The Ocean Fracture (a bit more raw, but good nonetheless)
I would highly recommend *shels' Sea of the Dying Dhow, Red Sparowes' At the Soundless Dawn and Pelican's The Fire in our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw.

I hope you realize that < and > are the traditional symbols for 'greater/better than' and 'lesser/worse than.' It just seems pointless to use the symbols at all when it doesn't actually economize the amount you type.
Anyway, I will make a note to check out Mouth of the Architect.

Yeah, I should have thought of that.
Autumncurve, check out "The Ties That Bind," then "Time and Withering." They also have a split with Kenoma.
...and that's pretty much their discography. A new album comes out July 8th.

They are classic. Amazing band with amazing lyrics. Check out some of their older CD's, i think they are a lot better than the newer stuff.
