Arckanum is the name of a Swedish black metal band.

Arguably, Arckanums founder and sole member Shamaatae is the founder of Troll metal. Arckanum performs raw, primitive black metal with some 1980s overtones. The lyrics are made up to look like Old Swedish - though in reality they don't even come close to it - and deal mainly with the worship of Chaos and Pan.
