Building a press kit.

I'm starting to look into getting endorsed.
dont go and shoot me down im not going to even bother with companies like mesa and ampeg yet.
Im just wondering what you might want to enclude in a press kit(recordings, playing resume, etc.)
As I said, dont just assume im some fathead, I'm only going to go for some reduced string and gear prices now, I am in no way looking for some free wall of cabinets.

maybe some shirts would be nice to. lol

I dont think that something like that would be possible yet. A company wont endorse you just because you have some cool recordings. They want their product to be out and advertised much like a billboard.

our presskit;

Bio
Disco (2 releases)
Booking info
Promo photos

And ofcourse a link to your website which has all previous and future shows on it, reviews, etc.

That's everything magazines and clubs ask for when they're looking for bands, that's all we use. Gets us enough work..
If you're looking for endorsement you'll have to make a name for yourself first, why the hell would they give you free stuff otherwise? They're not waiting for a band to put their logo on some demo..
