If you've seen my other stuff it's usually about my bitch ex-girlfriend or political stuff or what not. The other day I decided to write some grindcore type lyrics (i.e. short and to the point) and here are a few I had. Oh, and the long song titles...sorry, I just like long drawn out ones more than just making another song called "Nothing" or "Pain"...it just gets old. And yes, I know my titles have nothing to do with the song, I prefer it that way.

I don't really need comments positive or negative, I just thought you were good guys who if you chose to could give a thumbs up or thumbs down depending. Remember this is my first attempt at this kind of stuff and I do a weird sort of free form...just think Pig Destroyer when you read these and they'll all make sense

exactly correct. Then again the lyrics are mainly just screamed long and hard over the music anyway so the flowing isn't always that important. Also I'm not much into the gore stuff either, I just wanted to do something different. Thanks for the input (no sarcasm involved)

But I don't think they're grindcore.
Grindcore has mainly socio-political lyrics...
The three most important bands, who started it...
Agathocles... S.O.B.... Napalm Death.... Neither of them has pure gory lyrics... They might used gore as a romantic theme to voice their rather pessimistic views of the humanity.

The music for it would be grindcore/mathy hardcore, not the lyrics. A lot of old grindcore just sounded like pure shit to me and I wouldn't want to follow in those bands' footsteps. And these are socially conscious lyrics if you look deep enough, which you may not have. I could understand it being a bit difficult since it's really the author who knows the true meaning and not those who analyze them. The first one is my way of saying how stupid suicide is and how suburb kids threaten to do it as a form of getting attention. For the second, the title is referrin to my hate of frat houses and how so many of them get away with rape, whereas the lyrics deal with an ex-girlfriend of mine, I won't bore you with the details. The third (though it's hard to tell cuz I didn't mention it, heh) deals with a woman I read about in the newspaper, everyone thought she was a great person, then she drank with her husband and that was the end result. Therefore I'm speaking out against suicide, rape, and alcohol. That clear some of that up for you? I don't mean to seem like I'm answering that as an asshole, I just want you to see what I was getting at.
