Symphony X's New Album "The Odyssey"
The album hits stores on the 5th of November, but I found it already on Kazaa. I plan on buying it the day it comes out, but I decided to sneak a peak. The album is fricken awesome! It's definitley a lot heavier than the normal material Symphony X creates. Download the song "King Of Terrors" to see what I mean.

Yeah man, if you can download that song I mentioned called "King Of Terrors" It's awesome. Michael Romeo promised the album would be heavy, and he was damn right.

that is one problem i have with SX though. there songs are sometimes really great catchy stuff, or sometimes its just a drawn out halfway decent song. on the album V, evolution and trancendance are great, but after that it really doesnt pick up again until "a fools paradise"

I dont have that problem with either The divine wings of tragedy, V, or The Odyssey....although damnation game gets a little boring for me at times.

i just listened to the new song, its kicks ass........very heavy. at first i thought they got a new vocalist, but russel just sings much deeper in the beginning of the song......

Yeah "king of terrors" is cool, definitley more of a new sound than I expected. have you found the bootleg version of their cd yet?

nope, im not good at getting mp3s. in fact, i dont even own any burned cds. i buy all mine. . if i go to kazaa i dont know what the hell to do so im stuck paying for music......
the only mp3 i have is 1 in flames song when slayme made the thread with it.......

kinda dissappointed......
i bought the limited edition version today........ its heavier, probably cuz Romeo did most of the song writing......... and Allen sings deeper, more intensely, it sounds worse........
i still have more to listen to though.........
