Guitar keeps shocking me
I was playing guitar then i touch the pickup and it shocks me what the hell is up with that, also when i touch any of the electronics touching the pots i get shocked why is that? is it because i have active pickups?
I also think its because i was playing drum samples on my old ass peavey k/b-100 without the little pin on the bottom of the plug could that be it?also if that is the problem is there somewhere where i can have that replaced with another cord?
Any other problems i could have?

Maybe your having some ground issues. Look inside your guitar and there should be a wire soldered to something screwed into the gtuiar. If you have a floyd rose it may be soldered to the post that holds the springs. MAYBE...
If the ground is connected properly you shouldn't recieve any shock.

since you have active pickups, maybe you DID ground it, with actives you should NOT ground them, cuz then you will get shocks, so check that first, maybe sumtin (wire or so) is making a ground by accident. but its hard to say without seeing the guitar in front of me.
so actives NO ground.
passives YES ground.

This could be a good learning experience, to force yourself to play tightly and accurately. If you slack off and start digging in with your pick, you get a nasty shock from your pickups. Good stuff.

Does the wall outlet you're using have a center ground prong? If it doesn't, that's your problem.
