I already got a new guitar, RG 1570, but I want to keep my backup in good shape. Because of my bridge problems, I don't have a backup guitar. And I don't want to spend a few hundred bucks.
See, here's my problem with the older guitar: The bridge is all jacked. The metal on the saddles is softer than the strings so it creates like a little notch where the strings are pressed into it. So I every time I change the strings I have to screw the block tighter and tighter. That is also causing the threads inside the saddle to strip.
What bridge is best to replace it with?
