Left handed guitarists...

Do you left handers play with a normal string set up(bottom to high strings) or do you guys play with your guitars stringed like a righthanded person(upside down?)

Been watching this dude playing some death metal transposing everything to an upside down method. :

I have a friend who plays with left hand and he sets his strings from low to high

The shrill, demented choirs of wailing shells;
And bugles calling for them from sad shires.

Weird...

Dan Swano (Bloodbath, Edge of Sanity) is left handed, but plays a right handed guitar upside down but without reversing the strings like Hendrix did.

That guy is left handed and playing a left handed guitar with the strings reversed... which seems totally pointless

Maybe he learnt the same way Swano did on a right handed guitar, and when he got a leftie, decided to keep it strung the same way. He can play, whatever the reason!

He said he learned it that way, and doing it the "right" way is hard for him. He pulled off the solos and chords with little effort, the kid must be so used to that...

I'm left handed but I've always played right handed because right handed guitars were all I ever found. If I switched now, it'd be like re-learning English or some shit, so here I am.

I've picked up a left handed acoustic and it didn't seem so hard for me to play on it, I managed to play basic shit without much mistakes. I'm sure I could get up to speed in a few months as a left hander, but damn playing with the strings completely upside down seems absurd.

when i was just starting to learn guitar i was told that i should play right handed cuz my left hand would be faster and i'd be better...fuck that though cuz it was unnatural. I can't understand the playing left and stringing right thing though. sounds to me like the person wants to be "unique"
