A friend of one was talking about how he just messes with drums cuz there is really no theory about it and u can only go so far.What can i tell him so he thinks otherwise?

I don't know about theory, but drumming is not just somethign you can mess around with. I've been drumming for about 5 years, but I know that I've not even brushed the surface of the experience of drumming.

Tell him he's a cockslut. A LOT of theory is involved in drumming, from setting up your kit, to playing it (technique) to the musical aspects (time, rhythm, mood, tension). Drums keep the time, drums create, sustain and abate tension, they drive the song. If the drums are sloppy, the whole song falls apart. Most people write the drum parts for any song first. I'd stab him in the eye with a drumstick.

I wouldn't use a drum stick; his blood can't be good for the stick's quality.
I'd wait till he gets off a drum set, hit him in the leg from behind (right where the knee is), grab him, and throw him down on the hi hat stand..... I'll tell ya, the rod on those stands hurt like hell.....
