Hey I don't know if you guys noticed this...
Hey did you notice that shitty Puddle Of Mud song She Fucking Hates Me is a complete rip off of the Suicidal Tendencies song I Saw Your Mommy...Like minus the fast thrash break but it's the same riffs and nearly same vocal patterns!

A few things concern me.....
1) How long has that Puddle of Arse Mud song been released and you've only just realised?
2) Why do you thinks such a startling revelation deems worthy of it's own thread?
Next week, someone tells Led Zep where Sabbath got the riffs for Paranoid from

Oh man, there is that one riff by morbid angel that deicide fucking stole. Or was it Cannibal Corpse? Or obituary? Or maybe napalm death stole it. Actually, I think Skinless stole something from them. Or was it Suffocation? Mabye Vader stole it....hmm, perhaps it was Immolation. One of those guys stole it.....

The one riff in Death - "Flattening of Emotions" reminds me a bit to much of Iron Maiden - "Phantom of The Opera" for comfort.

Intro to Cannibal Corpse- Disposal of the Body
Middle of Carcass- Frenzied Detruncation
Almost the same thing. I only noticed because I listen to way too much fucking metal. Cannibal Corpse didn't notice, and Carcass didn't care. Why should we?

Whoa, Im a dumbass, but which song?
Slayer's "Bitter Peace" intro sounds like Morbid Angel's "Fall From From Grace" to me
Lamb of God's "Break You" intro sounds like Defleshed's "Lightning Strikes Thrice" intro
I assume most people have heard the clip of Atreyu utterly and completely ripping off In Flames' "The Hive", no?
Someone told me once that Morbid Angel's "Maze of Torment" sounds like Slayer's "Criminally Insane"... Ive never checked this out though

And the breakdown in Korn's "balltongue" is the same one in Morbid Angel's "Angel of Disease".
The old old ass Morbid Angel pre-AoM versions of the song were very similar to Mercyful Fate songs, mostly due to the slowed down tempo and King Diamondish vocals that some old vocalist used to do.

My one's too easy.
Natalie Basingthwaite's band... Rogue Traders...
One of their songs.. the riff from "My Sharona" is so blatantly obvious I wonder why they didn't just cover the song?
shit band anyway. Not even metal. Why did I mention it.

Actually the drum intro not the riffs
Malevolent Creation also has a part of a song that sounds like the beginning of Morbid Angel - Dominate. I think it was from a song on Retribution.

Both of those are way off. Bitter Peace is the only good song on Diabolus, and it doesn't sound anything like Morbid Angel. The only thing the two songs share is that the intros are slow and the songs get pretty fast later.
Do you have any riffs in particular from the two songs that you would compare?

Lots of MC songs sound like other bigname deathmetal bands, in particular Dismember and Bolt Thrower, and there's a new Lamb of God song that's supposed to be a ripoff of a MC song. Lame.

Yes, I was refering to the intro riff from both songs, the slow parts you alluded to. Slayer changed it a lil bit but they still sound rather similar to me.

In Children of Bodom's Triple Corpse Hammerblow there's a descending walk (scale run) that's exactly the same walk that Randy Rhoads does in Over The Mountain.

A lot of people find similarities between Carcass' Corporal Jigsore Quandry and that Trivium song about Pulling Hard on shit.

Enter Sandman main riff is spooky similar to Trouble's Psychotic Reaction main riff
Whiplash is a combination of GBH's Give Me Fire and Venom's Witching Hour with lyrics blagged from Motorhead's We Are The Road Crew.
The Four Horseman was a rewrite of Kiss Detroit Rock City, Dave Mustaine admitted this
Escape is similar in parts to the verse of Peace Sells and Hanger 18 has the same progression on the intro as Call of Kthulu
That fast riff on No Remorse is lifted from another Venom tune Plagiarising twats and they have the gall to sue others over copywrite
I'll post more later!!!

Terrorizer's Resurrection and Napalm Death's Warped Beyond Logic are INCREDIBLY similar.

Iron Madian actually stole a the chorus riff from the Dystopia song "Backstabber." I forgot the IM song title, but I used to have an mp3 that combines the two and you can't tell which band is which besides the vocal pattern.

I thought this thread might not be so offensively shitty as to close it if I let it develop into something. At this point, it's abundantly clear that isn't going to happen.
