I have a Rogue 4-String LX200B. What I want is, a 5-string B.C. Rich Beast *drools* It looks so awesome!

I know whatcha mean, I was poor myself when I bought that Ibanez...

squiers aren't any good if you ask me but they are okay to learn on, I guess.

I've got a kickass amp and an even more kicking ass bass
most of you've seen the pics in the bassforum in the past, the SR 5 prestige limited edition
In addition to that I've got a hughes and kettner bassbase 400 watt tube amp, but I need all that stuff for gigs, a good amp is the thing you need the most, even if you have a crappy bass (I played on a cort 4 string before.) a crappy bass will even sound pretty good on a good tube amp.

then don't get any tube amps, tube amps sound really round and bottom endy, also they sound clear.

you need to get yourself a Laney or either an Trace Elliot
