Anyone have a schematic to a Crate Blue Voodoo
Yeah, I'm an amp tech in the making and I was just wondering if anyone had a schematic for one of these before I go in and fuck something up. Yeah, and also, is the bias adjustable? Yeah, thanks in advance guys.

I hear BV's are autobiasing. Check ebay, I've seen some of their schematics go there for like 10 bucks.

I don't know what each looks like, but I have both BV-60 and BV-60H
Spotting features:
BV-60 has four speaker jacks, two for 4 ohm and two for 8 ohm. It has a single reverb control, and a bright switch between the mid an dhigh controls.
The BV-60H has two speaker jacks, spkr and ext spkr. There are two reverb controls and no bright switch.
I have the BV-60H on disc already, the BV-60 is on paper. It is all 11x17" so it is two scans per page on my little scanner. If you want either of these, send me an email with Crate BV-60 as the subject line. If you want the paper one, if you really only need part of it, it would make my job easier scanneing.

I believe the 150 and below are auto biasing. The 300 i'm almost positive is not. (i have both)
Its possible you might be able to get the schematics through crate.

while we're on the subject. i could use a schematic to a splawn promod, but i dont know what year... i'm gonna try and have someone else fix mine instead of sending it to splawn. it'd be over 100 bucks in just shipping.

100+ is insured though.
it would only be like 50 with UPS packing uninsured.
i'm thinking i should only isure is on tha way back...
as far as i know, and scott splawn speculates, only a few resistors need to be replaced on the footswitch board. sounds like a cheep fix.

Then dont you only need to send the footswitch board? Do you mean the footpedal, or the actual footswitch unit inside the amp.
But yeah, I was thinking ask a site that mods the amps. For example, Voodoo amps most definately has BV schems. If they are available to the public is another story, and I remember most places (as I recall) charge for them.
Arvina, doesnt Scott have a schematic for you? I imagine he would be the man to ask.

i've been trying. seems all of my messages now get sent to a junk folder or something. i have a long list of re:re:re:re:re:help me (subject line), but now the computer sees me as something else.
i'm gonna just call him. the only problem i forsee is that i fix what we think is the problem, and it ends up being something else that scott woulda seen but we didnt know to look for it. one more email and i'm calling....long distance.
