Pain of Salvation's Scarsick...

...has leaked. It's weird and it sounds like they're trying to be a little too diverse on it. Elements of rap, disco, nu metal, theatrical-type music, etc. They also use some new instruments that I've never heard them use such as banjo and mandolin. Daniel Gildenlow has also seemed to discover a few new words (shit and fuck) and uses them profusely in the first few tracks. This is one of my favorite bands ever, but right now I can only give this album a 6/10.

I liked the theatrical sound of Be, but I haven't heard much besides that. Maybe it's just a new failed experiment.

I got my hands on this album as well. Its really weird, but its typical Pain of Salvation in the sense its the last thing I expected them to do. I love this band and I dont particularly care for this album. Daniel seems really fuckin pissed and it seems to have interferred with the music.
