If I cant get my marshall fixed, im looking at something like that (or in its price range) im sure someone on these boards has tried this, and from what I hear on these boards you people seem to really hold H&K in high regard.
lemme know!

for the pricetag, fuck that shit. Man, you could get a fucking Orange Thunderverb or a full custom handmade Bad Cat for that price. If you really plan on spending that much money, get an ENGL SE, or be badass and get the thunderverb, or if you're really bent on spending that much, get an ENGL powerball AND a Bogner Ecstacy... they will probablyl love you more than the HK.

i hope you're not going to shell out $3,000 for a new one. i used to have an MKI triamp... i bought a used one with the midi module and didn't spend more than $1,200.
killer amps though. the cleans are great, the crunch is good, and the high gain is really tight.

Amon Amarth used the same one on their new album. Sounds killer and tight! But not too sterile.
bleeding, Orange/Engl/Bogners are not the only amps that are worth paying 2-3 grand for you know. There is a remote possibility on this planet that someone may prefer a triamp over those amps.
I would never spend that much on an amp without trying it previously though.

Rofl, you played one? I saw one in a store and it was shiny... No idea how it sounds though, but definately the crowd it's geared towards turned me off.
