amp + 8 track freak out / smells like burning
so I plugged my marshall mode four into my 8 track to record and it did this "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET" sound lights started to flicker and I freaked out and turned everything off and unplugged everything and I smelled some kind of weird burning smell coming from my head, whats the deal? ive done this before with no problems what the hell is going on.

transformer esprosion! HOPEFULLY that bitch is under warranty, then it wont cost you 250$ for a marshall transformer replacement... now if it does cost you, say FUCK to the marshall transformer and get one made by mercury magnetics... it will make your amp sound so much better... for pretty much the same cost.

Maybe i'll have to get one to replace the transformer in my Peavey 212 Tube combo i have. Its like from the 80s and shit. I wouldn't mind getting the whole thing repaired if it sounds good. Its about heavy as fuck though.

from what i've heard, changing over stock to mercury magnetics is like building a BBE sonic maximizer INTO your amp... people say it brings the amp to life... i think thats pretty appealing...
