anyone ever used Black Diamond strings? They have some black coating that makes the strings last 3-4 times longer than normal strings. And, whats a good size gauge of strings to be able to tune low, like down to B?

on a 6 string? try 11 or 12 gauge

I dont know....I wanna check them out tho, it would be sweet to have black strings

yeah i'll try them out too(if i can find some...and id only try 'em once my new set breaks...)

couldnt find 'em at the local guitar shop...also checked on musiciansfriend.com, and the closest thing to black strings that i found is black accoustic guitar strings
