Haha, i barely even know any record labels. I don't pay attention to that shit.
I know Nuclear Blast because of Death......Metalblade, and RoadRunner.....that's about it.
There's Epic too.....uh.....fuck it, i don't care.

nuclear blast and century media are good labels. also, roadrunner is good cuz they got type o negative and obituary.
as for relapse, their only band i know of is amorphis.......

Nope,that wasn't Roadrunner as we know it now,it was Roadracer. In the mid-nineties they decided underground metal didn't make enough profit and fired Monte Conner who signed all the deathmetal bands and they got rid of every single one of their deathmetal bands.
Now they're the most trendy and moneyhungry label around.
They don't give a shit about their bands,they don't have a vision and they follow only one thing: the mighty dollar.
Earache is almost as bad as they too fired all of their deathmetal bands except for the ones that had strong contracts (Morbid Angel for example). Also whenever one of those deathmetal bands they fired (Napalm Death,Bolt Thrower) release new albums,they will release some cheap compilation or so of that band as to make a little extra cash even without permision of these bands.
The worst thing about these labels is that once a band is dropped they don't even print their cd's anymore... Denying thousands of fans who are new to the band of buying the albums.

wait a minute, didnt napalm death found the earache label? i thought they owned it..............
i always wondered why type o's 1st album said roadrunner reocrds, but on the CD itself, it said roadracer.

Ah.....i thought it was RoadRunner back in the early Gorguts days.
Well i'm fucked anyway...i don't have those albums and i'm dying to get them somehow. With the death of Audiogalaxy, i'm pretty much screwed completely.

My number one favorite is Relapse because it houses my 3 favorite bands (the Dillenger Escape Plan, Pig Destoyer, and Nasum, yes in that order), then Trustkill (Eighteen Visions, Poison The Well, .hopesfall), and Ferret Music (Every Time I Die and similar bands). Those are pretty much the only labels I trust to put out a lot of good stuff from. Century Media will put out a Candiria CD and then pump out a bunch of lame ass half done metal.

every new band i get into now seems to be either signed to century media or nuclear blast. thats why i like those labels so much.....
wait, if earache is no longer making old albums of bands they no longer have, does that mean that there will be no more copies of picnic of love by anal cunt? damn.... i wanted that album..................
why would earache drop napalm death? ND albums sell very well i thought. at one point i think they even had an album in the top ten on the american billboard charts..................................
